Aleshinloye: Workers’ commitment key to economic growth

 

As Nigeria joins the rest of the world to celebrate Workers’ Day, Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye, Deputy National Chairman Emeritus of the National Association of Local Government of Nigeria (NALGON), has praised Nigerian workers for their steadfast commitment to national development.

In a message to mark the occasion, Aleshinloye commended the tireless efforts, dedication, and resilience of workers across the country, describing their contributions as instrumental in shaping the nation’s economy and improving the quality of life in communities.

“As a former chairman, I’ve witnessed firsthand the impact of your labour on our community’s growth and development. Your commitment to excellence has been pivotal to our local economy and essential services,” he said.

He highlighted the perseverance and creativity of Nigerian workers in the face of challenges, applauding their unwavering dedication to service and nation-building.

Aleshinloye called for renewed efforts to foster a supportive environment that empowers workers, urging citizens to unite in support of President Bola Tinubu’s initiatives to enhance workers’ welfare.

“Today, we celebrate the spirit of labour and the contributions of workers everywhere. Keep pushing boundaries and achieving greatness,” he added.

The former Oluyole Local Government Chairman concluded his address with a heartfelt message: “Thank you, dear workers, for all that you do. I wish you a joyous Workers’ Day celebration.”
